To go is to live on mission with Jesus. It means being rooted in Christ as His witness—shaped in your purpose, refined in your calling, and sent in love. As Christ is formed in us, our words, choices, and actions begin to reflect His mission to the world. Going happens through intentional service, generosity, evangelism, and embodying the gospel in daily life. It’s not about striving for recognition, but about faithfully carrying His presence wherever you are—allowing Jesus to work through you for the good of others. This is the journey of becoming His hands and feet in your home, community, and beyond.
Jesus said, “You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). To be a witness is more than speaking about Jesus—it is living in such a way that people see Christ in you. Being a witness means living a life that is countercultural: choosing humility over pride, holiness over compromise, forgiveness over bitterness, and generosity over selfishness. In a world that often runs after power, status, and self, a Spirit-formed life stands out as a living testimony to the transforming love of Christ.
At Mt. Zion, we believe this kind of witness begins in the ordinary places of life—our homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods. Every believer is called to reflect Jesus in both word and deed: showing integrity in decisions, compassion in relationships, and courage in sharing the hope we have in Him. When we live differently because of Christ, the world takes notice. Through us, people catch a glimpse of the Kingdom of God and are invited to know the Savior we serve.
Jesus came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45). To follow Him means taking up that same posture of humility and self-giving love. At Mt. Zion, we believe serving is not optional—it is the natural overflow of a life shaped by Christ. To serve relentlessly means offering your time, gifts, and energy for the good of others, refusing to grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).
Serving happens both inside and outside the church. Within Mt. Zion, we serve one another by teaching, leading, encouraging, and using our gifts to strengthen the body of Christ. Beyond our walls, we serve relentlessly in our homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods—seeking the flourishing of our community and reflecting the compassion of Jesus to a world in need. No act of service is too small when it is done in His name.
Relentless service is not about recognition, but about obedience. It is about seeing every task, every need, and every opportunity as a chance to embody the love of Christ. When we serve both one another and the world around us, we become the hands and feet of Jesus—demonstrating His Kingdom in tangible ways.

Generosity is at the heart of the gospel. Jesus gave His life freely for us, and in response, we are called to give generously as an expression of gratitude toward God. Generosity is more than finances—it includes our time, our talents, and our treasures. When we use our God-given resources for His Kingdom, we bring transformation into the lives of others and participate in the mission of Jesus.
At Mt. Zion, generosity fuels ministry. It costs approximately $1.5 million each year to operate and carry out the mission and vision that God has entrusted to us. If every member committed to investing just $180 per month into the Kingdom of God, we would meet our budget with ease. Your generosity makes possible everything from Sunday worship to discipleship pathways, missions, kids and youth ministry, community outreach, and care for those in need.
To give generously is to live like Jesus—open-handed, joy-filled, and kingdom-minded. When we sow into God’s work through Mt. Zion, we are planting seeds of eternal impact that ripple far beyond ourselves.
